Build Your Future
Purpose-Powered STEAM Education
A Note From Our Founder
Build Your Future is a fresh take on STEAM. Founded in Fall of 2022, we aim to increase student engagement and retention by connecting coursework to community impact.
This work was inspired by ten years of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) advocacy. I encountered bright, hopeful students armed with the grades and test scores to achieve prestige. But they were hungry to discover more meaning, to identify their values, and to understand the role of education in their contribution to the world.
Our students deserve to be motivated by impact, not just achievement. They deserve to know how to apply their skills not only to preserving the status quo, but to creating the communities that they want to see. Build Your Future was created to fill that gap in the curriculum.
We are empowering the next generation through creative storytelling, interactive student workshops, community, and micro-grants for young changemakers. Visit our pillars below to find out how you can get involved!
